|Notes||This button was put out by unions and their allies after Republican legislators in the Ohio General Assembly passed a law limiting the negotiating power of public employee unions. They collected petition signatures to put the law up for a referendum vote. The unions successfully garnered support and voters voted to repeal the new law (Senate bill [SB] 5) in 2011.|

Bill Cohen, a long-time Ohio Statehouse News Bureau reporter, donated a collection of political memorabilia and ephemera to the Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board in 2012.
The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board took over the care of the Statehouse and its collections in 1988.
