Grey ceramic elephant figurine with white tusks. Although it is a generic elephant figure it was probably used in an Ohio auditor or governor's office as a Republican GOP symbol.

Betty Bunyon of Columbus, Ohio, worked for the State of Ohio for fifty-two years. She began her service under Auditor Joseph T. Ferguson who served from 1937 to 1953 and continued under Auditor James A. Rhodes (1953–1963). She then served as a notary commission clerk under Governors Rhodes, James Gilligan, Richard Celeste, George Voinovich, Nancy Hollister and Bob Taft.
Her daughter donated this collection to the Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board in 2014.
The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board took over the care of the Statehouse and its collections in 1988.
