Description Brown cover with gold lettering on spine. Pasted on the inside cover is a list of members of the 1873-1874 Ohio Constitutional Convention. On the following page is a notation written in pencil: "J.L. Caldwell, M.D. / (Pike Co.) Beaverton, O. / Apr 30th, 1873".

Provenance Lucy Caldwell donated a collection of items that had belonged to her grandfather, John Lewis Caldwell, who was a member of the Ohio Congressional Constitution Committee of 1873-1874.

The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board took over the care of the Statehouse and its collections in 1988.
