Description |
This postcard has a white background with two American flags, the Statue of Liberty and an American shield. There are two black-and-white, oval images with the text: "FOR PRESIDENT / WM. H. TAFT / COPYRIGHT BY UNDERWOOD & UNDERWOOD NY" and "FOR VICE PRESIDENT / JAMES S. SHERMAN / PHOTO BY FREY UTICA, NY". "OUR CHOICE" is written on the bottom of the vertical postcard in gold. The message reads: "Mountains next/ Mon-- / F. / and I have [illeg] in / Rocky Rt Inn next - / [illeg] for all time. F". The postcard is addressed to: "Mrs. Warren Stilson / Sidney Center / Del Co / NY". The postmark is illegible, and there is a green, one-cent stamp with an image of Benjamin Franklin. |
