This campaign button has black-and-white images of William McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt, who were the U.S. presidential and vice-presidential candidates in the 1900 election. There are white stars against a blue background at top and red and white stripes at bottom. Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board staff member Michele Hulse purchased this campaign material for the Statehouse museum collections in September of 2015 and transferred ownership. The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board took over the care of the Statehouse and its collections in 1988. |
