William Bart ”Bill” Saxbe was born June 24, 1916 in Mechanicsburg, Ohio. He was a member of the Republican Party and served as a U.S. Senator for Ohio from 1969-1974. Saxbe was also Attorney General for Presidents Richard M. Nixon and Gerald R. Ford, and served as the U.S. Ambassador to India. Saxbe died August 24, 2010 in Mechanicsburg, Ohio. |
