Porcelain decanter of Marita Spirits, LTD anniversary release of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. This decanter depicts all of Ohio's eight presidents around Ohio's flag and the words: "OHIO / MOTHER OF PRESIDENTS". The bottom of the decanter states: "EXCLUSIVE DESIGN BY MARITA SPIRITS LTD. / A 1972 / FROM THE ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION OF AUTHENTIC LIVERPOOL PORCELAIN". The bottle has been opened and the contents are gone. The original paper seal remains on the lid, although it was broken when the decanter was opened. The top of the decanter has its original top with the cork still attached. The back of the decanter has a sticker that reads: "ANNIVERSARY / Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey / 90 PROOF / 12 YEARS / 4/5 / QUART / BOTTLED / BY / MARITA SPIRITS, LTD / CLIFTON, NEW JERSEY" |

Provenance |
Marita Spirits, LTD based out of Clifton, New Jersey, marketed whiskey bottles. Their creations held Bourbon whiskey from various distilleries. The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board purchased this decanter in 2004 to be added to the Statehouse Museum Collections. The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board took over the care of the Statehouse and its collections in 1988. |
