Description |
This holiday card was sent out from Ohio Governor Richard (Dick) Celeste's office sometime during his term. The front of the card features a watercolor of a snowy scene of the Ohio Governor's Mansion front door. It was painted by artist Robert Laessig. The inside of the card features the Great Seal of the State of Ohio embossed above the message which reads: "The Governor & Dagmar Celeste / Wish you Peace and Joy this Holiday Season" in silver embossed script. The back left corner of the card reads: "Paid for and authorized by the / Governor's Committee / Hamilton J. Teaford, Treasurer / 91 East Deshler / Columbus, Ohio 43026" and features the American Greetings logo. The back right corner features the Graphic Arts International Union stamp with the words: "Made in Ohio". |
