South Trimble (1864-1946) was a U.S. Representative from Kentucky (1901-1907) and also served as the twentieth-seventh (1911-1919) and twentieth-ninth (1931-1946) Clerk of the U.S. House of Representatives. Pike County's John Lewis Caldwell was a member of the Ohio Congressional Constitution Committee of 1873-1874. |

Lucy Caldwell donated a collection of items that had belonged to her grandfather, John Lewis Caldwell, who was a member of the Ohio Congressional Constitution Committee of 1873-1874. The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board took over the care of the Statehouse and its collections in 1988. |
