This program was printed on white cardstock and folded in half. The front cover has the Capitol Square Foundation's logo and a color image of the painting the event honors. Program for the fundraising gala celebrating the unveiling of the Ohioans in Space painting in the Rotunda of the Ohio Statehouse. The painting, by William Hinsch, honors four astronauts Neil Armstrong, John Glenn, Jim Lovell, and Judy Resnik as well as NASA flight director Gene Kranz. The gala event was hosted by the Capitol Square Foundation (CSF). Each seat in the Atrium had a program. There was a reception for the event in the Rotunda before dinner in the Atrium. At 8:30p.m. the painting was unveiled in the Rotunda, leaning against a wall. The painting was then hung in its intended place the next day. |
