Description |
This pewter pin is made in the design of the logo for the capitol restoration. In the center, is an image of the Ohio Statehouse Cupola. At the top broken into two corners is "1861" in a semicircle above the logo "A CAPITOL REVIVAL". At the bottom broken into two corners is the date "1996". Their are also four stars that are in a diamond shape around the Cupola image. |

This lapel pin was purchased from the Statehouse Museum Shop upon the Ohio Statehouse reopening in 1996 by Ohio Statehouse Museum staff member, Chris Matheney. Chris donated the pin to the Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board in April of 2021. The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board took over the care of the Statehouse and its collections in 1988. |
