Color postcard of the Ohio Statehouse rotunda shows the painting "Perry's Victory," the "Lincoln and Soldiers' Monument," several governors' portraits, electric star lights and a hanging electric light. The postcard is addressed to "Mrs. Peter Bricker / Mt. Vernon / R2 Ohio." It is postmarked "COLUMBUS, OHIO / FEB 15 / 2 PM / 1915" and has a green one-cent stamp. The text reads: "I am sorry to hear that / you are not well. My cold is / better. I got 'G' in one branch & / 'A' in another and have not found / out in others. I guess I will have / to drill Washington's birthday but I / will be at Mt. Liberty Fri. Eve. Write / and let me know how you are. / L.S. Bricker" |
